About the Company:

HDFC Asset Management Company is the most profitable asset management company in India in terms of net profits since Fiscal 2013, with a total AUM of Rs.2,93,200 crores ($45 billion) as of December 31, 2017.

Company operates as a joint venture between Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (“HDFC”) and Standard Life Investments Limited (“SLI”).

They offer a large suite of savings and investment products across asset classes, which provide income and wealth creation opportunities to their customers.

They also provide portfolio management and segregated account services, including discretionary, non-discretionary and advisory services, to high net worth individuals (“HNIs”), family offices, domestic corporates, trusts, provident funds and domestic and global institutions.

Company has been the largest asset management company in India in terms of equity-oriented AUM since the last quarter of Fiscal 2011 and have consistently been among the top two asset management companies in India in terms of total average AUM since the month of August 2008.

As of December 31, 2017,Company’s equity-oriented AUM and non-equity-oriented AUM constituted Rs.1,55,200 crores ($23.8 billion) and Rs.1,37,900 crores ($21 billion) respectively, of their total AUM.

Company’s AUM has grown at a compounded annual growth rate (“CAGR”) of 27.1% between March 31, 2013 and December 31, 2017. The proportion of equity-oriented AUM to total AUM was at 53.0%, which was higher than the industry average of 44.1%.

Company has received several awards for their operations, such as the Equity Fund House of the year award for 2017 at the Outlook Money Awards in 2018.
